Metrolink

Manchester is served by Metrolink, its tramway system. Metrolink provides a particularly convenient way to travel from the outskirts to the centre of Manchester and run every 6 minutes. Metrolink tickets need to be bought before boarding from ticket machines on the station platforms. MICC has it's own Metrolink station that will take you directly to both Piccadilly and Victoria train stations. Taxi

There are taxi ranks throughout the city. Main pick-up points include St Peter's Square/Crowne Plaza-Midland Hotel, Portland Street/Piccadilly Gardens, Victoria Station and Piccadilly Station. No journey within Manchester City Centre should cost more than £5.

On foot

Manchester city centre is surprisingly accessible by foot. It takes no longer than 10-15 minutes to walk from one side of the city centre to the other.
